Alma Jean Wells

Alma Jean Wells, 95, of Sidney, Ohio, passed away peacefully in her home on March 7, 2025. She was born July 25, 1929; oldest daughter of the late Carl and Bertha (Mauck) Jackson.

On August 23, 1953, Alma Jean married Lester Wells. She was Preceded in death by her husband of 65 years. She was also preceded in death by two brothers Rex Jackson and Paul Jackson; and one sister Clarbel Schilling.

Alma Jean had a gentle spirit and observant soul who cherished the simple joys of life, especially her peaceful nature walks. She enjoyed arts and crafts and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Alma is survived by her daughter, Connie Sarff; grandchildren, Stephanie Burdett, Aaron Sarff, Tyler Sarff, Katilyn Seidel; great-grandchildren, Logan, Riley, Harbor, Scarlett, Luke, Josephine, Alora and sibling, Phyllis Carey.
