Altie Medders Wolf, born on September 20, 1934, to James and Lois Medders, passed away peacefully on December 20, 2024 at the age of 90. She leaves behind a legacy defined by her unwavering kindness, deep compassion, and selfless spirit.
She was a devoted wife, mother and loving sister, who nurtured her family with an open heart. Her adventurous spirit was coupled with a silly, fun-loving personality that drew people in and made every gathering brighter. Whether she was water skiing, dancing, or engaging in spirited game of bingo, Altie possessed a zest for life that inspired all around her. Her athletic talent shone through her participation in basketball during her school days at Miller Grove, and her competitive spirit continued with her love of bowling, participating in numerous tournaments over the years. She had a close connection tie to Miller Grove and Bonanza Community.
Altie dedicated 30 years of service to Safeway, where her hardworking nature and commitment ensured her a prominent place in the hearts of her coworkers and customers alike. Known for treating everyone as though they were family, she made a lasting impact on those to cross her path.
Altie took immense pride in her daughters and grandchildren, always considering them her proudest accomplishments. She was known for her dedication to caring for her family, taking joy in looking after others' children as if they were her own, a testament to her nurturing heart.
Altie will be remembered for her kindness, devotion, and the laughter she brought into countless lives. Her memory will live on in the hearts of those who loved and cherished her; she will be missed profoundly.
She is survived by her daughters, Judy Conner and Debra DeFore; sister, Jo-Ann Prather; sister-in-law, Sue Medders; grandchildren, Christina conner, Kristin Thompson, Zach Henderson, Tony Sewell, Cody Talley; and great grandchildren, Lexi Walker, Zadyn Davidson, Bry Davidson, Preston Henderson, Peco Thompson, Cash Henderson, Titan Henderson, Williow Henderson, Alley Thompson, Cheynne Thompson, Jaylyn Garcia, Lilly Sewell, Carly Talley, Colt Talley, Cannon Talley and Collin Talley.
Altie is preceded in death by her parents, James Medders and Lois Medders Garrett; her son, Donald Ray Asbill; brother, Billy Medders, Bobby Medders and her sisters, Joy Terry and June Patterson.
