Anthony Lewis

September 7, 1987 — August 6, 2019

Anthony Wayne Lavincent Lewis, Jr., age 31, of Emory, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, August 6, 2019, in Fairfield, TX.

Memorial service is scheduled for Saturday, 11:00 AM, August 10, 2019, at Wilson-Orwosky Funeral Home Chapel in Emory.

Anthony was born on September 7, 1987, in Greenville, to Anthony Wayne and Belinda Carol Childs Lewis. Anthony was a Christian and he followed the Lord in baptism at Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church in Caddo Mills at a young age. He graduated from Rains High School Class of 2006, where he loved sports. He took two years of classes at Tyler Junior College. He later had a son, Isaiah, who is 9 years now. Isaiah was the most important person in his life. Anthony loved him more than words can say, and he was so very proud of his son! Anthony coached softball and liked to do other jobs around the field like keeping the books, the score board, etc. He has been a huge fan of Texas Longhorns "from way back". Anthony worked many different jobs such construction, truck driving, store clerk, etc. He was very smart and a jack-of-all-trades. Anthony loved his Granny Jannie and was very close to her! She called him her "Bubba Wubba". He was "Bubba" to many but not to his Granny. He touched so many people in this world, in his short 31 years on this earth. He was loved by everyone who knew him and he will truly be missed!
