Barbara Ann Spence Alaman

Barbara Ann Spence Alaman, born on July 6, 1940, peacefully passed away on October 1, 2024. With a heart full of love and a spirit that touched the lives of many, Barbara was cherished by her family and friends as a kind and nurturing presence.

Barbara embraced life with a joyful enthusiasm. She was a loving mother, whose devotion to her children was evident in every aspect of her. Her memories reflect a consistent pattern of warmth and affection; her daughter, Sharron Horrocks expressed, "all of my memories are good memories. She was the best mom." 

Barbara possessed a personality that could only be described as a wonderful blend of qualities. Her kindness and selflessness were apparent to all, and her beautiful spirit radiated through her humor, gentleness, and patience. She embodied the essence of a true friend, always willing to lend a helping hand or a comforting word.

In her spare time, Barbara enjoyed hobbies that connected her with the world around her. She found joy in canning and gardening, cultivating not only plants but also deep relationships with those she visited frequently. She loved spending time at family reunions and never missed a chance to see her family. 

Throughout her life, Barbara took pride in her most significant accomplishments: being a good mother, friend, and a nurturing figure to many. She embraced the role of motherhood not just for her own children, but extended her care to everyone who needed it, truly earning her title of "mom to everyone."

As we remember Barbara Ann Spence, let us celebrate a life well-lived, filled with love, laughter, and unparalleled kindness. Her legacy will continue to inspire those who had the fortune of knowing her.

She is survived by her daughter, Sharron Horrock, her nephews, grandchildren and great grandchildren. 

She is preceded in death by her sons, Carl Moore and Keith Moore.
