Bernard White

Mr. Bernard C. White, age 91, of Emory, died Tuesday evening, Sept. 16, 2014 at Senior Suite Care and Rehab.
He was born April 28, 1923, in Pittsburg, PA, to Chauncey and Helen
Sloan White.
He married Jerelene Mayo Poore in Ft. Worth, on July 24, 1963.
Mr. White fought during WWII in the Battle of Marianas Strait, as a torpedo bomber pilot. Later as an anti-submarine warfare pilot.
He retired Lt. Commander (LTCDR) with the
Admiral's staff in Hawaii.
