Another angel was called home to be with the lord. Betty Wilkinson Bell Ancheta, 89, passed away on February 9, 2024 at U.T. Health Hospital in Quitman, TX. She was born November 24, 1934 in Morgan City, MS to Prentiss Winfred Wilkinson and Mary Conner Wilkinson. She began her working career as an executive secretary for various companies. Before retiring, she spent her last 25+ working years at Jackson Ready Mix Concrete in Jackson, MS.  
She was loved by all who had the pleasure of meeting her. She had a beautiful, infectious smile that touched everyone she was around.  She loved the Lord, who was a big part of her daily life. She loved her family and friends and cherished those times together. After retiring, she loved to quilt, sew, do crafts, and read. She was a member of several quilting groups in Emory, TX and Morgan Hill, CA.  Her last 13 years were spent living in Emory, TX and was a member of the Emory Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her nephew Michael Dale Wilkinson, and her sister-in-law Betty Sue McPhail Wilkinson.  She is survived by her loving sons, Charlie Bell of Emory, TX, and Mike Bell (and Lorraine) of Morgan Hill, CA; grandchildren, Sara McCarthy (and Sid) of Cooper TX, Victoria Bell of Austin, TX, and Mason, Katherine, and Nicholas Bell of Morgan Hill, CA; brother, Winfred Wilkinson of Middleburg, FL; nieces, Judy Wilkinson Raines (and Steve) of Cleveland, MS, and Laura Wilkinson (and Kalonie) of Middleburg, FL; and a host of cousins.
Betty Nell never knew a stranger and was a friend to all.  She was truly an angel on this earth and will be greatly missed by all she knew.
Special thanks to the doctors and staff at U.T. Health Hospital in Quitman, TX for their professional and sincere care during our time of need. Also thanks to the Wilson-Orwosky Funeral Home in Emory, TX for their kindness and help during this difficult time.  A Celebration of Life memorial service will be held at a later date. The family requests in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the American Cancer Society.
