Brenda Lee Dickinson, formerly known as Brenda Lee Brennan, passed away peacefully on July 22, 2023, at Christus Mother Frances Hospital in Sulphur Springs, Texas. She was born on August 17, 1963, in Chicago, Illinois. Brenda will be deeply missed by all who knew her.  There will be a private family viewing Thursday, August 3, 2023, at Wilson-Orwosky Chapel.

Brenda devoted many years of her life to working as a cook at the nursing home. Her culinary skills brought joy and comfort to countless residents who benefited from her delicious meals. Colleagues described her as hardworking and dedicated, always going above and beyond to ensure that everyone's needs were met.

It was during this time that Brenda's path crossed with James Dickinson's. James mowed Brenda's lawn one summer day, and from that moment forward, their lives became intertwined. They quickly realized they were soul mates and soon became inseparable. Wherever James went, Brenda was sure to follow.

One of their most treasured memories together was rebuilding a truck. For years, they dedicated themselves to the project, pouring their hearts and souls into every nut and bolt. This shared endeavor not only strengthened their bond but also became a symbol of their unwavering commitment to one another.

Brenda was a true homebody. She found solace in the simple pleasures of domestic life and reveled in being by James' side at all times. Their love was an inspiration to those around them—a testament to the power of true companionship.

In her free time, Brenda loved nothing more than participating in activities alongside James. Whether it was exploring new hobbies or joining him on his adventures, she derived immense joy from sharing these experiences with the love of her life.

Family meant everything to Brenda. She is survived by her husband, James Dickinson; sons, James Earl Dickinson II, Daniel Lee Dickinson, Michael Allen Dickinson; daughter-in-law, Jenny; parental figures, Antonio and Nikki Keifer; her baby, Boo; granddaughter, Reagan Dickinson and mother-in-law, Lea May Weatherly.

She is preceded in death by her son, Calvin Dickinson.

Brenda Lee Dickinson leaves behind a legacy of love, compassion, and unwavering loyalty. Her absence will be deeply felt by all whose lives she touched. As we bid farewell to this remarkable woman, let us celebrate the beautiful memories she gifted us all. In our hearts, Brenda will forever remain someone we can't live without—a beacon of light guiding us on our own journeys.
