Carol Westbrook, age 70, of Emory, died at
ETMC, in Tyler, on Wednesday, April 1, 2015.
She was born March 5, 1945, in Corry,
Pennsylvania to Jack Abraham and Helen Irene Toner Cochran.
Carol married Ernest Floyd Westbrook, in
Durant, Oklahoma on July 31, 1965.
She worked for Abbott Labs, in Irving, a medical equipment manufacturer in quality control.
However, her most important job was her
family... being a wife, mother and grandmother.
She loved arts and crafts...winning first place blue ribbon for her "pumpkin doll" at the Golden Sweet Potato Fest one year.
She made the best fruit salad and potato salad ever... and, only Abby knows the "real recipe". For Christmas?...Homemade enchiladas. A little unconventional...however, so was Carol
Westbrook. What a legacy she leaves her family: love, friendship, honor, trusting, caring, supporting...loving her family. Her memory will be
cherished by all who knew her.
Memorial service scheduled for Saturday, April 4, 2015 at 11:00 AM, at the Wilson-Orwosky Funeral Home Chapel with Phyllis Young officiating. Please sign the guestbook above for the family.
