Cathy Adcock

Funeral services for Cathy Adcock, age 61, of Emory, will be held on Saturday, January 14, 2023, at 10:00 am at Wilson-Orwosky Chapel in Emory, Texas with interment at Dunbar Cemetery.  Cathy’s visitation service is Friday at Wilson-Orwosky Chapel from 6:00 – 8:00 pm.

Cathy was born May 11, 1961, to Jackie and Sylvia Butler in Houston Texas.  She married Teddy Adcock on April 11, 1994, in Arkansas. She loved working with horses and being outdoors with her animals.

She is survived by husband, Teddy; son, Matt Brumitt and wife Bonne; granddaughter, Annaka Thompson; father, Jackie Butler; brothers, Bubba Butler, Chad Butler and wife, Anne, Heath Butler and wife, Melissa; sister, Sissy Crouch and husband, Ron; sister-in-law, Judy Taylor; nephews, Charlie Butler and wife, Amanda, Jonathan Butler, and Chauncey Taylor and wife, Debra; nieces, Morgan Day, Makayla Butler, Megan Butler, Star Crouch and Cristin Gable and spouse, Mayson.  As well as many great nieces, great nephews, family, and friends who loved her.

She is preceded in death by her mom, Sylvia Butler and mother-in-law, Doris Edwards.
