A Celebration of Life for Charles Becton Brumit, will be held at the Civic Center, Saturday, June 24, 2023, at 2:00 P.M. in Emory, TX.
Charles Becton Brumit, passed away Sunday, June 11, 2023.
Charles was born on March 7, 1939, in Greenville, TX to Robert Brumit and Addie Christopher. Charles was the youngest of 13 siblings. He married the love of his life, Doris Faye Ivy, October 17, 1969, in Oklahoma and made a life, home and family where they had three children. Charles graduated high school in Point, Tx, and after 35 years of working for L3, he retired in 1995. He was a master of carpentry and woodwork, and had a love for art, practiced coloring and shading of nature scenes. Charles was a Godly man, member of The Church of God, and very passionate about researching the bible and practicing the Word of God.
Charles was a family man, a wonderful father, grand-father, and a great-grandfather.
He is survived by his loving wife, Doris Brumit, Daughter; Faye Nell, Sons; Terry Don and Christopher Brumit. Nine grandchildren, as well as numerous great-grandchildren.
Charles was preceded in death by his parents, Robert & Addie, and his 12 siblings.
In lieu of flowers, donations would be greatly appreciated to go towards Charles widow, Doris to support her in this time of grief.
