It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved wife, mother, and Nana. Charlotte Ann Busby, of Emory, went home to be with her Lord and Savior unexpectedly on January 28, 2025, at Medical City Plano. With respect and regards to her wishes, there will be no funeral services planned.
First and foremost, Charlotte loved the Lord more than anything. Her light and loved shined bright for the Lord, all that knew her would agree. She would want the world to know the following, especially those who are lost. The following was taken from a handwritten note in Charlotte’s Bible. “Satan is a liar and father of all lies...true salvation is simple, but it is hard. It was the hardest thing I have ever done in my life. In order to get saved you have to want a new changed life, cleansed from sin and you have to trust Jesus to do that. Salvation is turning from sin to Jesus... We don’t get saved when we plan to-we get saved when the Lord is drawing on us.”
Charlotte was born in Dallas County on August 21, 1946, to R.L. Hill and Florence Furra. Charlottle married the love of her life, Jerry P. Busby on August 29, 1964, having been married 60 years and 5 months before she went to her heavenly home.
