Chris Hilton

Graveside service for Chris Hilton (Chick), of Emory, will be held at Rocky Point Cemetery on Saturday, January 29 at 10:00 am.  There will be a visitation service at Wilson-Orwosky Chapel from 6-8 pm on Friday, January 28, 2022.

Chris was born on November 28, 1948, to Thomas Chick and Barbara Pickett, Chick, in California. She died Monday, January 24, 2022, at Hunt Regional in Greenville, TX.

Chris was a people person who loved to dance, loved to play softball, enjoyed fishing, and always trying to feed people.  She loved to cook and was always trying new things.  Her number one love was her grandkids and great grandkids, especially camping with her grandkids.  She had many jobs but enjoyed Lee Silver Fox with her husband.

Chris is survived by her daughter, Shannon Balentine; step-sons, Russell Hilton, James Hilton, Heath Hilton; grandchildren, Renee Hilton, Wade Balentine, Scott Balentine, Heather Balentine; great grandchildren, Bracelyn Balentine, Sophia Villegas, Aubrey Balentine, Elly Balentine, Letty Balentine, Huxley Balentine; and sister, Karen Gonzalez.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Steve Hilton; and brother, Tommy Chick
