Clif Young

"Carl" Clif Gary Young, 61, of Emory, passed away at his home Thursday morning. Carl was born in Sweetwater, TX on May 8, 1952 to Carl Garner Young, Sr. & Mickey Dodds Young. He married Denise Robison in Rockwall on December 10, 1982. They were married 31 years. During his working career he worked hard as an Automotive Technician, in many different capacities. Carl loved his children and he enjoyed teaching them to shoot guns and to fish. He loved being outdoors and taking the family boating and fishing. He taught each of the kids invaluable lessons of how to work on their cars and boats too. He loved his family and enjoyed having his children and grandchildren around him as much as possible!

He is survived by his wife Denise; daughter: Janie Eastland of Sacramento, CA; sons: Joseph Eastland of Dallas; Neil Young (Carrie) of Emory; and Kevin Young of Emory; mother: Mickey Young of Dallas; Grandchildren: Caleb, Desmond, Peyton, Justin, Chaine, Vally, Ian, Isaac, Alexis, Alyssa, Austin, Ashton, and Joseph; and numerous other loving family and friends.

He was preceded in death by: father, 2 brothers: Larry Young and Jimmy Young.

Memorial service set for 2:00 PM Sunday, January 19, 2014 at Country Baptist Church in Point, Texas. Rev. Mike Frazier will officiate.
