Dakota Barker

August 10, 1991 — March 25, 2019

Dakota Ryan Barker, age 27, of Emory, passed away in a motor vehicle accident during the wee hours of Monday morning on March 25, 2019.

He was born to the parentage of Randy Lee and Staci Maxanne Fletcher

Barker on August 10, 1991 in Baylor Medical Center in Dallas.

After graduating from Rains High School... he worked as a driller in the oil field for a good many ears.

Dakota played sports during high school, like football and basketball.

He enjoyed hunting and fishing. He and his Uncle Chris liked going on small vacations and traveling to different places.

Dakota really liked to go over to his sister's home, and wrestle and play with his little nieces and nephews...

He had many friends with whom he enjoyed just riding around and hanging out.

Survivors left here to mourn his death..... yet cherish his memories include:

Father: Randy Barker (Melissa) of Terrell

Sister: Mackenzi Christian (Justin) of Emory

Grandfather: Max Fletcher of Emory

Grandmother: Diane McCardy of Bonham

Grandmother: Marie Barker of McKinney

Nieces and Nephews: Skylar Conner; Lincoln Christian; Baby girl Christian due in July; Eastin Christian, and, Berklee Christian

Uncle: Chris Fletcher

Cousin: Joseph Jones Fletcher

Step-brother: Nathan Watson

Step-sisters: Micha Watson; Danielle Watson; Misti Sontag; Mandi Maganzinie; and Megan Stewart

Numerous other loving family and friends

Burial will follow funeral service in Barker Family Cemetery 2060 FM South 779, Emory, Texas
