David Alan Adams, age 53, of Emory, passed away Thursday, July 2, 2015, at his home.
Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Wilson-Orwosky Funeral Home of Emory.
David was born on February 20, 1962 in Mountain View AR, to Jeff Davis and Clara Ann Mitchell Adams. He was a self-employed Carpenter.
David loved the outdoors; fishing, hunting and just being around nature. Growing up in Arkansas he was always surrounded by the natural state's beauty. David, his older 'Sis' Cecilia, and their mother Clara would take trips to Fifty-Six, Arkansas, just outside of Mountain View near the White River, during the summer to visit relatives and make great memories. He was a skilled carpenter and very detail oriented. Building things seemed to fit David's personality well. His meticulous nature and attention to detail always showed through his finished works. He was also a talented artist; drawings, sketches and custom made jewelry were just a few mediums that he enjoyed working with. Always modest about his work, David would settle for nothing short of perfection. He was an extremely hard worker who got a great sense of pride in the finished product and a hard's days work. Above all of his great qualities, his love and devotion to his family & friends was at the top. He would do anything for his loved ones and always dropped by bearing little gifts which always had a 'personal quality' to them, he was always thinking of others. He had a huge heart, a wonderful smile and is missed dearly.
