Donna Harder

Donna Harder, a cherished member of her community, passed away on December 23, 2024, at the age of 83. Donna's life was marked by a deep commitment to her family, her community, and her faith.

Donna was born June 02, 1941 to Joe and Ellen Shackelford in Cortez, Colorado. She later married William Edward Harder, and they spent 67 beautiful years building a life together. They had made Emory, Texas their home for the past 43 years.

Donna was not only a devoted member of Emory United Methodist Church, but she worked there as the secretary for 25 years. Her faith was an integral part of her identity and guided her throughout her life.

She had a passion for travel, often packing up her RV to embark on new adventures. Whether exploring scenic routes or discovering hidden gems, her travels were a testament to her adventurous spirit and love for life.

She will be remembered not only for her contributions to her profession but also for the warmth and kindness she extended to all who knew her. Donna Harder's legacy of love and compassion will continue to resonate within the hearts of her friends and community.
