Mr. Dwight D. Brewer, age 71, of Emory, passed away on Monday, April 16, 2018, near midnight, at his home
He was born June 22, 1946, in Okmulgee, OK to the parentage of Alvin Otto and Eva Richardson Brewer.
He married Dianna Jean Rogers in Oklahoma on July 19, 1967.
He worked as an engineer for Verzion and retired from there after some 56 years of a job well done.
He served his country as a soldier in the U.S. Army during the Viet Nam War.
"Ike" as he was known, was a avid fisherman....more to the point, "Bass" fisherman, and after retiring to
the Lake Fork area, he spent many hours and days in his boat on the Fork, fishing for bass!
When the children were younger, he was always taking them fishing and showing them his little secrets
of "where they were bitin', when they would be bitin', and what they were wanting to bite on..!
Grandchildren just followed in their parents footsteps on learning to fish....
Dianna was his constant fishing partner.....as well.
Holidays were always a family event with Ike and Dianna......They would host a holiday event.....or one of
the children would host it.......Summers were always special with swimming and cooking out at Tiffany or Brett's house...or
fishing and swimming and cooking out at their grandparents place on the lake.
Yes ...Dwight..."Ike" will be forever missed by all those who loved him.
