A graveside service for Eldridge A. Rogers, Jr., 88, of Emory is scheduled for 2:00 pm, Tuesday, October 29 at Lake Fork Cemetery. Mr. Rogers died October 26, 2013 in Winnsboro. Visitation will be 6-7 pm Monday, October 28, at the Wilson-Orwosky Funeral Home Chapel.
Eldridge Aubrey Rogers, Jr, was born on Nov. 7, 1924 in Jacksboro, TX to Eldridge and Mae Choate Rogers. Aubrey married O..J. Brackeen on Nov. 15, 1943, and they would have been married 70 years this Nov. In 1978 he retired from the postal service and pursued his love for fishing. His love of fishing was his main entertainment. In 1991 they bought a place on Lake Fork in Emory. He enjoyed teaching neighbors and grand children to fish. His love of fishing was passed on to friends and family with many memories. He was truly a loving husband, dad, grandfather to all his family. He supported his family in everything they did.

Numerous other loving family and friends.
Preceded in death by: Brothers: Beau, Eldridge, Edward, and Leon Rogers who died in WW II as a POW in a Japanese Camp in the Philippians.
Sisters: Fay Lowery, and Kate Kuhlmann.
