Ellen Williams

Funeral service for Ellen Delores Williams, age 69, of Lone Oak, will be held at First Baptist Church of Point 11:00 AM, Thursday, February 18, 2016. Interment will follow at Lone Star Cemetery in Point. Visitation will be held Wednesday evening 6-8 PM, at the church. Bro. Jay Sikes and Bro. Zachary Honzell will officiate.

Ellen was born in Atlanta, GA, on August 12, 1946, to John Slaton and Cleo Dell Sturdivant Atwood. She married Willie Edward Williams in Dallas on March 15, 1964, and they've been married some 51 years. She was a homemaker all of her life and what a wonderful "HOME" she made. Ellen was a member of First Baptist Church of Point where she loved to help with Vacation Bible School every year and she also enjoyed singing there. She was such a loving person...she loved everyone and she found fault in no one. She loved her family so very much...and Susie too! (her baby girl - the mini dachshund!)

Daughter-in-law: Tiffany Williams of Point
1 Brother: Bill Atwood, (Darline) of Jefferson, GA
2 Sisters: Brenda Kenney of College Park, GA, and Carol Glasscock, (Sidney), of Wasilla, Alaska
6 Grandchildren: Gayle Davis, Stephanie Davis, Karol Williams, Thomas Williams, Jonathan Thomas and Emma Williams
Numerous nieces and nephews
Many other loving family and friends
