Funeral service for Elsie Beatrice Ling, 81, of Emory, will be held 11:00 am, Saturday, March 30, 2013, at the Wilson-Orwosky Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the Oakland Cemetery in Van Zandt County. Bro. Jason Rolen will officiate. Visitation will be Friday evening, 6:00 - 8:00 pm. at the funeral home.
Mrs. Ling died Wednesday morning, in Greenville, at Hunt Regional Medical Center. Elsie was born Dec. 9, 1931, in Leland, Mississippi, to James David and
Frankie Octavia Palmer Padgett.
Elsie worked as a Licensed Vocational Nurse, (LVN), during her working career. In her later years she enjoyed her family and little hobbies like quilting, sewing, gardening, and just working with her hands.
She is survived by:
