Floyd's professional journey was primarily defined by his 23 years of service as a driver for Roadway Express, where he earned the respect and admiration of his colleagues and clients alike.
Beyond his professional life, Floyd was a man whose passions lay in nature. He found joy in fishing and spent countless hours outdoors, soaking in the beauty of the natural world.
Floyd's proudest accomplishment was his marriage to his beloved wife, Carol Ann, with whom he shared a devoted partnership for 49 years. Their bond was a testament to love and commitment, creating a lasting legacy that will be remembered by all who knew them.
He was a source of fun and laughter, bringing joy to those around him with his witty sense of humor. His ability to make others laugh was a gift he cherished, and many will remember him for the light he brought into their lives.

He is survived by his children, Wendy Taylor, Randy Westbrook and Michelle, Jimmy Westbrook; grandchildren, Stephanie Taylor; great grandchildren, Abbigail Taylor; sisters, Mary Templin, Charlotte Gorman, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Floyd is preceded in death by his loving wife, Carol Ann Westbrook and his parents, Richard and Estelle Westbrook (Harris).
