In Loving Memory of Gerry Don Sandifeer

Gerry Don Sandifeer was born on November 11, 1944, and passed away from Lymphoma with his sons by his side on February 8, 2025, at the age of 80. Preceded in death by his Mother Verna Sandifeer, Father OL (Buck) Sandifeer, Brother Jerry Dell Sandifeer, Wife Mary Lynn Sandifeer whom he married on August 5, 1966, Survived by his two sons, Kevin Lee Sandifeer and Wife Hannah Sandifeer and Scott Alan Sandifeer and wife Jane Sandifeer. Gerry had two granddaughters, Abby Sandifeer Foster and husband Brandon Foster and Lacey Sandifeer, four step-grandchildren Brad Bemis his wife Kayla Bemis and Brandon Bemis and his wife Rachel Bemis and AJ Sparks and Ella Sparks, and four great-grandchildren Kyleigh Bemis, Jaxon Bemis, Jeremiah Bemis and Dominic Holguin. Three nieces and a host of cousins that he loved dearly.

Gerry Don Sandifeer was a remarkable husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, friend and Army Veteran. His life was a testament to love, dedication, and craftsmanship. For 57 beautiful years, he stood by the side of his beloved wife, Mary Lynn, caring for her with unwavering devotion until her last breath. As a volunteer fireman and Army Veteran, Gerry exemplified bravery and selflessness, always ready to lend a hand to those in need. His 43 years at Dr Pepper were marked by hard work and commitment, reflecting his strong work ethic and loyalty. Gerry had a passion for the outdoors, finding joy in hunting and fishing. Gerry shared this passion with his two boys Kevin and Scott. He started taking them along at an early age creating memories that will last a lifetime. He was also a master carver, creating intricate canes and hand-carved figurines that showcased his artistic talent. His leatherwork was equally impressive, crafting beautiful belts and wallets that will be cherished by those who received them. A true handyman, Gerry could fix or build anything, always ready to tackle a new project with enthusiasm. His greatest joy came from his grandchildren, who lovingly called him Pops or Poppy. He cherished every moment spent with them, creating memories that will last a lifetime. Gerry's legacy of love, loyalty, and creativity will live on in the hearts of all who knew him. He will be deeply missed but fondly remembered for the warmth he brought into our lives.
