Gladys Faye "Happy" Brantley, age 67, of Yantis, passed away Saturday, December 26, 2015, at ETMC in Tyler. Family will receive visitors in a short visitation period which will be held Wednesday, December 30, 2015, at the Wilson-Orwosky Funeral Home Chapel in Emory from 2:00-3:00 PM. No service is scheduled at this time.

Happy was born on January 16, 1948, in Toledo, OH, to William Richard "Bill" and Kathryn Jenkins Goddard. She married Jimmy Lee Brantley in Temple, TX on May 26, 1984. She happily, cheerfully and lovingly worked her entire lifetime as housewife, mother, and grandmother. She loved her kids, grandkids and great-grandkids, nieces and nephews...they were her whole world! She loved to go fishing and camping, loved the beautiful outdoors and camping out in tents. Happy loved to travel. She also loved to crochet and make beautiful things for her children. She loved the Lord her God with all her heart, she was a Christian, and was non-denominational. She loved to play and sing Gospel music. She also loved to sing Country and Western music too.

Survivors include:
Husband: Jim Brantley of Yantis
2 Daughters: Sheila Faye Wendt, and husband, Randy, of Bellville, and Kathryn Candice Capps, of Edgewood;
2 Sons: Vance Lee Brantley, and wife, Tammy, of Blackwell, OK and James Lance Brantley of St. Paul, MN;
5 Brothers: David Goddard of CO, Thomas Goddard of NC, Wally Goddard of WA, John Goddard of WA, and Morley Hanley of ID;
13 Grandchildren: Shazta, Shatara, Jason, Levi, Rachel, Cortney, Cody, Cally, Bretnie, Brianna, Heather, Austin Cole, and Richard;
8 Great-grandchildren: Cason, Cash, Hunter, Brianna Lee, Lillian, Waylon, Olivia, and Zaylee;
Many nieces and nephews.
Numerous other loving family and friends.

Cremation arrangements under the direction of Wilson-Orwosky Funeral Home of Emory.
