Harris Hass

Funeral service for Harris D. Hass, age 83, of Alba, will be held Tuesday, July 29, 2014, at Wilson-Orwosky Funeral Home Chapel in Emory. Bro. Jim Herriage will officiate. Burial will follow in Pilgrims Rest Cemetery, Rains County. Visitation will be held on
Monday evening, 6:00-8:00 pm at the funeral home.

D was born in the Hogansville community on June 14, 1931, to Isaac Bowie and Bertie Whitehurst Hass. He married Anna Myrtle Hawk, on Jan. 31, 1970, in Weatherford. Mr. Hass worked as an air-conditioning technician for most of his working years.

Survivors include:
Step-son: James Lee Hawk of Sugarland;
5 Brothers: Isaac Hass of Emory, Joe Dell Hass of Alba, Douglas Hass of Alba, Randy Hass of Golden, and Danny Hass of Kaufman;
3 Sisters: Nellie McKenzie of Alba, Darlene Hays of Hawkins and Diane Wright of Alba;
Dear Friend: Jean Mitchell of Winnsboro;
Numerous other loving family and friends.
