Funeral Service for Helen Lou Clifton will be held, Friday, 2:00 pm, January 24, 2014 at the Emory Baptist Church. Burial will follow at Dunbar Cemetery. Rev. Joe Perkins and Bro. Robert Burns will officiate. Visitation will be 6-8 pm, Thursday evening, January 23, 2014 at Wilson-Orwosky Funeral Home Chapel.

Helen Lou Clifton, age 75 of Emory, died at Hunt Regional Memorial Hospital in Greenville on Tuesday, January 21, 2014. She was born May 21, 1938, in Emory, to Archie Buck and Julia Rae Latham Palmore. Helen married Robby O'Daniel Clifton in Dallas on July 2, 1955. They were married for 58 years. She was a member of the Rains County Garden Club. Helen was a member of Emory Baptist Church and attended the Sword of the Spirit Sunday School Class. She worked as an administrative assistant in the banking industry for many years. Helen also worked in the Rains County District Clerk's office.
