Homer Robertson

Homer Lewis Robertson, age 92, of Rowlett, formerly of Emory, passed away, Monday evening, January 27, 2020, at his residence.

Funeral service is scheduled for 2:00 PM, Friday, January 31, 2020, at Emory Baptist Church. Interment will follow the service in Emory City Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at 1:00 PM. Bro. Billy Smith and Dr. Richard Piles will officiate.

Homer was born in Emory, on June 2, 1927, to the parentage of Charles Ace and Susie Richie Robertson. He graduated from Emory High School with the Class of 1945. He married Emma Lee Nabors in Greenville, on December 24, 1952. He proudly served our country in the United States Army during the Korean War. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge. He was a long-time member of Emory Baptist Church.

Sons: Ronnie Robertson of Sulphur Springs; and Rick Robertson, and wife, Leslie, of Rowlett
Daughter: Ada Sue Price, and husband, Charlie, of Holly Lake Ranch
Grandsons: Brad Northcutt, Brock Northcutt, Brandon Northcutt, and Ryan Robertson
Granddaughter: Kaitlyn Robertson
Great-grandchildren: Braden Northcutt, Tucker Northcutt, Ayleesa Northcutt, Aspen Northcutt, Addison Northcutt, and Bryson Northcutt
Numerous other loving family and friends
