Ima Huneycutt

Ima Jewell Huneycutt, age 83, passed away during the early morning hours of Tuesday, April 10, 2018, in Tyler,
at Christus Mother Francis Hospital.
She was born in Wellington on Oct. 31, 1934, to the parentage of Pat Boyd and Ruth Shirley Busby.
Jewell married James Mitchell Huneycutt in Dallas, on July 28, 1962. Unfortunately, Mr. Huneycutt passed
away on March 25, 2018....only about 2 1/2 weeks ago.
She was employed for many years with Toys R Us.....as a salesperson ...and indeed "Toys Were Her"...
She loved working with children and especially in the infants department....
She raised two children...mostly out in the Amarillo area.
Jewell loved her family and those boys were her delight!
Also, Jewell was a member of Hopewell Primitive Baptist Church in the Cartwright Community near Coke.
Her church friends and personal friends around Yantis, and, still those in the Amarillo area will miss her
greatly.
Her children will miss her indeed.....certainly, now, they will be without either of their parents......
She along with Mr. Huneycutt raised their children in the truth and admonishing of the Lord..
Giving them and laying the groundwork for them in matters and decisions they would face....and have to make decisions about...
right or wrong decisions....but, they would have their spiritual values to stand on in making those decisions....God's ways...not man's
ways. This was the teaching from a devout loving Mother and Daddy during their upbringing.
Survivors include: Jayson Huneycutt (Stephanie) of Spring;
and James Don Huneycutt (Alyne) of Amarillo
Brother: Donald Ray Busby (Janet) of Flower Mound
Hadley Huneycutt (Gloria) of Yantis
Darlene Wilson (Jim) of Quitman
Numerous other loving family and friends
Preceded in death by her parents and beloved husband...March 25, 2018

Interment will follow on Tuesday.... April 17, 2018... 2:00 pm .....Macedonia Cemetery in Dalark, AR....near Arkadelphia.
