Isidro Huizar

Isidro "Chio" Guerrero Huizar, age 76, of Emory, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, July 12, 2017, at his home, surrounded by his family. Funeral service is scheduled for Sunday, July 16, 2017, 2:00 PM, at First Assembly of God church in Emory. Bro. Montie Parker and Christina Huizar will officiate. Interment will follow in Smyrna Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday evening, 6-8 PM at Wilson-Orwosky Funeral Home Chapel in Emory.

Isidro "Chio" Huizar was born in San Antonio, on December 16, 1940, to Macario Dorangricchia and Anita Guerrero Huizar. He married Avis Ecra Northcutt in Emory on March 7, 1969. Chio was the owner/operator Style Floors in Emory. He was a Christian and a member of First Assembly of God Church in Emory.

Survivors include:
Wife: Avis Northcutt Huizar of Emory;
Daughters: Olivia Huizar-Martinez (Martin) of Ft. Worth, Toni Gambill (Roger) of Lawton, OK, Teresa Huizar of Washington, DC, Christina Huizar of Austin;
Son: John Huizar of Austin;
Sister: Hope Huizar Kidder of San Antonio;
Brothers: Joe Huizar of San Antonio and Fred Huizar of San Saba;
Grandchildren: James Moon, JonMarc Moon, Robert Trevino and Patrick Salcido;
Great-grandchildren: Emerson, Anthony, Carolina, Isabella and Patrick;
Numerous other loving family and friends.
