Jack Simmons

Funeral service for Jack Belton Simmons, age 75, of Van, will be held
Friday, Jan. 2, 2015, 2:00 pm, at Freedom Church of God in Emory.
Bro. Kenneth Ishmeal, and Bro. David Hamm will officiate. Burial will follow in Smyrna Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to service time, at the church, on Friday.
Mr. Simmons died Monday, Dec. 29, 2014, at his residence in Van.
Mr. Simmons was born Oct. 10, 1939, in Hale Center, to John Belton and Dove Mae Stapp Simmons.
He served his country when he joined the U.S. Army at a young age.
He married Janeene Arlene Lowry in Mesquite, on March 26, 1976.
Mr. Simmons was self employed and the owner of Legacy Trailers.

Wife: Janeene Simmons of Van
3 Daughters: Chantal Jackie (Simmons) Davlin of Emory; Lisa Arlene Perry of Mesquite; and Susan Lee Davlin (Gean) of Shady Point, OK
1 Sister: Billie Faye Howard of Sherman
Grandchildren: Donald Mitchell, III; Johathan Mitchell; Nicole Davlin; Jessica Day; Caden Perry; Dylon Davlin; Tyler Davlin, and Rachel Davlin:
Numerous other loving family and friends
Preceded in death by: Parents; 1 daughter, Daniele Simmons; and 1 sister, Betty Avery
