James Felton

Funeral Service for James M. (Jim) Felton, 88, of Emory, will be held 2:00 pm Sunday,
April 13, 2014, at Emory Baptist Church. Bro. Billy Smith will officiate. Burial will follow at
Emory City Cemetery. There will not be a visitation.
Mr. Felton died at his home on Friday, April 11, 2014. He had been ill for some time.
He was born September 2, 1925, in Emory, to John M. and Annie B. Dockery Felton.
He married Jacqueline Joy Smith in Richmond on Sept. 5, 1947.
Born to this union were two daughters.
Jim served his country in the U.S. Navy during WWII.

Daughter: Brenda Sakaluk (Jack) of Sugar Land
Son-in-law: William L. (Bill) Hayden, Sr. of Humble
Brother: Charles Rex Felton of Houston
Sister: Jeanette Fletcher of Eagle Pass
Grandchildren: Erika Sakaluk, Melissa Anne Sakaluk, Nicholas (Nick) James Sakaluk,
William Lonnie (Billy) Hayden, Jr., (Jennifer), Benjamin Wayne Hayden
Great-grandchildren: Leah Ramirez, Dylan Russell, Logan Franklin, Madison Franklin,
Payton Franklin, Alexis Kerry, Ethan Hayden, and baby Chase
Hayden, who is on the way....
Great-great-grandson: Copen Franklin
Special Extended Family: Penny and Tanner Tolliver and family
Former wife: Freddy Cooper
