Services for Jimmie N. Willis Clark, 89, are scheduled for 2 p.m. Tuesday, February 21st at Emory Baptist Church with Bro. Richard Piles officiating. Burial will be in Emory City Cemetery under direction of Wilson-Orwosky Funeral Home in Emory.
Jimmie Nan Willis Clark, 89, died in the early morning hours of Saturday, February 18th, 2023, in Sulphur Springs, Texas. She was born March 29th, 1933 to Wallace & Iva Matthews in Ashdown, Arkansas. She married Gerald Willis on September 5th, 1950, in Corpus Christi, TX. She was a bank teller and later became a stay-at-home wife and a very active member of Davis Street Baptist Church and Emory Baptist Church. Jimmie's biggest joys were spending time with her family, working in her garden, playing card games, cooking, eating and being a very active member in her church as well as the Women's Service Club of Emory.
Survivors include her son, Ronnie Willis and wife, Michelle, of Emory; granddaughter Dana Willis and fiancé, Logan Ely, of Emory; granddaughter Misty Goodwin and husband, Bubba, of Cumby; step-grandsons, Dalton, Cameron and Justin Redmon and wife, Lyndsey; three step-great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by the love of her life and first husband, Gerald "Jerry" Willis; second husband, Bearl Clark; both of her parents; all of her siblings; and several nephews & one niece.
Pallbearers will be Logan Ely, Bubba Goodwin, Dalton Redmon, Markus Groves, Brennan Potts and Clint McAree. Honorary pallbearers are Alan Pound and Ronnie McEnturff.
