John Reyna

August 17, 1963 — October 21, 2020

John Reyna, 57, of Emory, passed away Wednesday, October 21 at his home. A memorial service is scheduled at 12 pm November 7, 2020 at 769 State Hwy 276, Emory, Texas.

John was born in Pueblo, Colorado on August 17, 1963 to Reuben and Martha Cordova Reyna. He was married to Carolyn Reyna for 15 years.  John carried a family tradition on with driving trucks.  He started driving when he was 16 years old and drove for 41 years.  The last 7 years he worked for J-Supor & Sons, which is owned by Joe Supor. His dispatcher, Joe Filo, who was like family and stood by through this difficult time and hardship.  John was well known, loved and respected throughout the United States for his driving & sense of humor.  He never met a stranger & was a very giving person.  No one went hungry with John around.  He was either feeding someone or making them laugh.  He was an amazing man and incredible driver.

Survivors include Wife, children: Nicholas Reyna and wife Ceci, Cecila Reyna; Stepchildren: Cody Watts, Tiffany Peals and husband Terrence, Kara Watts, Mikaela Watts; Grandchildren: Aliza Peals, Terrence Peals Jr., and one on the way for Cecila Reyna; Siblings: Ben Cordova, Len Batchelor and husband Charles, Tom Lucero and wife Susan, Nick Reyna, and many nieces, nephews, family and friends that absolutely loved and adored him.

John is preceded in death by his parents, siblings: Shirley Rodriguez and Marla Christianson.
