Julia "Dodie" Northcutt

Julia was born on September 11, 1929, to David and Maggie Lynch in Dallas, Texas.  She passed on January 8, 2023.  Her funeral service will be Saturday, January 14 at 2:00 P.M. at First Assembly of God in Emory, Texas with a visitation beginning an hour prior.  Julia will be laid to rest at Smyrna Cemetery.

Julia married Travis (Tab) Northcutt on December 28, 1946, in Corsicana, Texas.  They were married 50 years before he went to be with our Lord Jesus Christ.  She has been a faithful member of First Assembly of God for 63 years.  She has worked for Sears, before marriage, Del Air and Senior Suites as an aide.

She is survived by her daughter, Tabbie Privett and husband, J.D.; granddaughters, Courtney Short and husband Randy, Kandace McFarlin and husband, Nathan and Kim Davis; grandsons, Travis Privett and fiancé, Gisselle, Eric Jones and wife, Casi, and Scott Davis; great granddaughters, Stormye Diller and husband, Nathan, Paylen Jones, and GiGi Price; great grandsons, Matthew Short, Ethan Short, and Sylas McFarlin; great great grandchildren, Emmett Diller, Teagan Diller, Cameron Davis, Owen Davis and Keeson Davis.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Travis Northcutt; daughter, Sandra K. Northcutt Jones; parents, David and Maggie Lynch, brothers, J.B. Airhart and David Lynch Jr., sister, Nancy Lynch Harrod, grandson, Jeff Davis and granddaughter Natalie Davis.
