Funeral Service for Kathey Ann Weatherford, age 70, beloved wife, mother, and nana, went home to be with the Lord on November 1st, 2021 at 1:42 pm, surrounded by her family.
Kathey, was born on July 25, 1951, to A.P. and Gladys Tillery Russell in Hopkins County. She was married to Roy L. Weatherford, for 52 years. Their love for each other is a true testament to marriage. She was a retired hairdresser, beloved wife, mother, amazing nana, and sister. Her greatest joys were spending time with family, teaching her grandsons in homeschool, playing with Lovie, and enjoying her only granddaughter. Most importantly, teaching family the Word of God.
She is survived by her husband; daughter, Lori Jackson (William) of Point, Becca Weatherford (Zabrina) of Emory; sons, Joey Weatherford (Susan) of Greenville, Daymond Weatherford of Justin, grandchildren; Wesley Weatherford, Brandon Weatherford, Dylan Weatherford, Russell Weatherford, Skyler Jackson, sisters; Louise Moser, Ruth Meyers, Helen (Tommy) Gaston, sister in law; Bobbie (Billy) Mercer.
Proceeded in death by her parents, brothers; Sammy Potts, Doris Potts, William “Pee-Wee” Potts, Jerry Russell, Phillip Russell, Billy Russell, brothers-in-law; Marvin Moser, William Meyers.
