Kathleen Roel

Kathleen Ann Roel, age 61, of Emory, passed away unexpectedly early in the morning of December 10, 2019, in her home.

Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Wilson-Orwosky Funeral Home of Emory. No service is scheduled at this time.

Kathleen was born on September 6, 1958, in Houston, to the parentage of Harold Dean and Jacqueline Anita DesRoche Thomason. She graduated high school. She married Heinz Roel in Las Vegas on November 10, 2003, and he treated her like his queen. She was a homemaker, a wife and a mother. She was an active member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church of Emory and she enjoyed volunteering for the Good Samaritans. She was loved by many and will be greatly missed.

Husband: Heinz Roel of Emory
Daughters: Angelique Kempker-Stivers and Jacqueline McGee (Trenton) both of Needville
5 Grandchildren: Abigail, Cassandra, Emely, Hunter and Addeline
Loving church family at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church

Preceded in death by:
Parents; Son: Robert Kempker III in 2015; and a Brother: Michael Thomason in April 2019
