Kathryn Gowins

Kathryn Ann Gowins, age 76, of Quitman, formerly of Emory, passed away Wednesday, May 6, 2020.

Kathryn was born on August 21, 1943, in Dallas, to the parentage of Cecil and Margaret Kathryn Bowman Burchett. She graduated Salutatorian of her class of Rains High School Class of 1961. Then she married Don Gowins in Emory on March 11, 1961. She was an office manager and did clerical work most all of her life. She enjoyed bowling with her family until she couldn't bowl any longer. She attended church at Pilgrim Rest Baptist Church for many years.

Survivors include:
Husband: Don Gowins of Quitman
Daughter: Marianna Doyle, and husband Kris, of Emory
Brother: Billy Joe Burchett of Germantown, TN
Granddaughters: Amanda Siebenthaler and Kaitlin Doyle
Numerous other loving family and friends
