Kenneth W. Gowin

It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of Kenneth W. Gowin, of Emory, Texas, on November 18, 2022, at the age of 82 years.
He was born on November 4, 1940 to Elmer and Rachael Wade Gowin. He was married to his sweetheart, Doris Faye Dodd, for 63 years. Their union includes their two sons, Mike and Randy Gowin, and son Ronald and daughter Rhonda.
He loved his church, Miracle Faith, and was baptized on May 15, 2022. 
He worked in the oil field, construction, and managed the B&B grocery store for many years.
He loved gardening, driving his tractor, and riding around looking at cows. He enjoyed playing cards, dominoes, and raising cane with his brothers.
He will be lovingly remembered by his wife; his children, Mike and wife Kobi of Emory, Texas, Randy and wife Brittany of Emory, Texas, Ronald Langley of Durant, Oklahoma, and Rhonda and Wes Clarke of Sulphur Springs, Texas; grandchildren, Michael and wife Ashley, Amber, Colin, Hannah, Taylor, and Katie; great grandchildren, Hannah, Emma, Gracie, Montana, Roper, Jessie and Brayden; brothers, Danny and wife Sherian, Larry (Bo), and Perry Gowin, and numerous other family members and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his brothers, Wayne and Ronnie Gowin.
Pallbearers are Colin Gowin, Steve Gowin, David Gowin, Darin Gowin, Ronald Langley, and Chris Cox.
