Koda James Lane, born on September 21, 2021, to loving parents JT and Tamra Lane in Greenville, Texas, joined the angels on August 5, 2023, in Sulphur Springs, Texas. He was a beloved son and brother who shined love into the lives of those around him.
From the very beginning, Koda had a heart filled with sweetness and kindness. He was blessed to have a best friend in his brother Kalon with a bond that only brothers can share. Koda had an adventurous spirit and always had a smile on his face. He walked in his brother’s footsteps, aspiring to be just like him.
One notable thing about Koda was his affectionate nature. Every time someone said "goodbye", he would make sure to give everyone in the room a warm hug, then again as another person left. His hugs became an unmistakable trademark of love and compassion, which he radiated.
Koda shared an unbreakable bond with both his Momma and Daddy. He was not only a Big Momma's boy but also Daddy and Bubba’s best friend. Their relationship was built on love, laughter, and countless unforgettable memories. His infectious giggles filled their home with joy which will be everlasting.
Though Koda may have been young in years, he accomplished something truly remarkable: at a very tender age, he expressed his love by saying those two magical words - "Love You." It was a gesture that spoke volumes about his emotional intelligence and capacity for pure affection.
Koda is survived by his parents, JT and Tamra Lane; brother, Kalon Lane; grandparents, Joe and Carla Fisher and Jimmie and Christy Lane; aunts and uncles, Brittany and Jeremy May; Emmaly Fisher, Shaya and Dustin Smith; Cory and Eva Pompa; cousins, Bailey and Avery Pompa.
