Linda Ely

Funeral service for Linda Grace Ely, 69, of Emory, will be held on
Wednesday, June 25, 2014, at Wilson-Orwosky Funeral Home, at 12:00 noon. Bro. Jason Rolen will officiate. Cremation will follow.
Visitation will be at 11:00 am, one hour prior to service time, on Wednesday.
Linda died in the Kingwood Medical Center, in Kingwood.
She was born May 17, 1945, in Jasper, Alabama, to David Chilton and Mageline Grace Amerson.
She married Oscar Ely, Jr. in Houston, on May 14, 1971.
She was a homemaker.
She loved her children, grandchildren, and that 1 little great-granddaughter, "Ellie".
Survivors include:
Sons: Christopher Shane Ely (wife, Jennifer) and
Johnny D. Ely (wife, Nelda) all of Emory
Brother: Thelbert Amerson of New Caney
Grandchildren: Brandi Ely, Johnny Ely, Christopher Ely, and Bryton Ely
Great-granddaughter: Ellisyn Ely
Numerous other loving family and friends
Preceded in death by: parents; husband in Dec., 2013; 3 brothers, Hoss Amerson, Rass Amerson, and Jeffy Amerson; 2 sisters, Charlotte Stone, and Martha Green
