L.J. "Pat" Patterson

Funeral Service for L.J. “Pat” Patterson, age 80, of Emory, TX will be held at 2:00p.m. Tuesday, April 26, 2022, at Wilson-Orwosky Funeral Chapel with Rev. Robert Burns officiating. An inurnment will take place at a later date at the DFW National Cemetery. Mr. Patterson passed away April 23, 2022, at Clements Hospital in Dallas, TX.

L.J. was born on January 6, 1942, in Sulphur Springs, TX to Clifford and Willie Mae Patterson. He was a longtime resident of Frisco, TX and retired from Arrow Industries. He was a disabled Army veteran. L.J. loved spending time with his family and friends, and he loved working in his garden. His pride and joy were his grandkids and growing lemon trees. In his spare time, L.J. loved to read and watch western movies.

L.J. is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Donna; daughters, Carol Cernosek (Bill) and Christi Pennington (Timmy); grandkids, Will Cernosek (Rafaella), Jason Patterson (Chanel), Austin Cernosek, Alexandria Cernosek, Charles Glidden, Cole Pennington, Ty Pennington; brothers, Richard Patterson (Patsy) and Ronald Patterson; many nieces, nephews, and cousins; and longtime friends, Carlos and Yolanda Liscano.

L.J. was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Oneta Stone and brother-in-law, Tal, Jimmie Roden; and brothers, Clifford Patterson, Jr., Robert Patterson, and Kenneth Patterson.
