Funeral service for Wanda Lounell House, of Emory, will be held at Clarks Chapel Church of God on Wednesday, February 23, 2022, at 1 pm. There will be a visitation service Tuesday, February 22, 2022, at Wilson-Orwosky Chapel from 6-8 pm.
Lounell was born on July 27, 1937, to F.A. Wright and Maxine Bray in Alba, TX. She passed away on Saturday, February 19, 2022, at 84 years of age, at her residence surrounded by her loved ones.
Lounell was married to the love of her life, Bill House, for 52 years before his passing. She was a member of Clarks Chapel Church of God, a seamstress and homemaker.
Lounell is survived by her daughters, Diane Mason and husband, Paul; Brenda Malone and husband, Kevin Lunsford, and Judy Huddleston; grandchildren, Mandy Lovvorn White, LaRissa Duarte, Brooke Dodson, Jack Slatter, Paige Hampton, and Niccole Malone; great-grandchildren, DezaRay, Austin, Skyler, Drake, Brenden, Kaden, Alyssa, Buck, Carson (I-me), Kari, Ashlyn, Tatum, and Raygun; great-great-grandchild, Bexley.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Bill House; son, Gary; son-in-law, J.J.; brother, John Wright, and F.A. Wright Jr.
