Margaret Briggs

Margaret Elaine Briggs, age 71, of Point, passed away at her home in the wee early hours of Friday, April 13, 2018.
She was born Feb. 19, 1947 in Greenville to the parentage of Arthur Raymond and Ollie Chester Dodson Jacks.
She married Rayford Ray Briggs in Durant, OK on Jan. 2, 1962.
To this marriage was born a beautiful baby girl, and, a handsome baby boy.
They were not only a couple....but, now, a family of their own.!
By choice, Margaret chose to be a homemaker....keeping her own children, as well as, neighboring children.
Her nurturing, giving, loving spirit was her gift to not only her family but, to others.
Margaret was a faithful member of First Baptist Church of Point.
Those left here on this earth to remember and cherish her sweet memory include:

Jim Jacks and wife Bonnie of Emory and,
Geary Jacks and wife Donna of Emory
Grandchildren: Charles Barrow, Franchesca Knight, Tiffani Davis, Andrew Roberts,
Elaine Kelley, Katherine Hillis, and Jordan Briggs
Great-grandchildren: Trinity, Jayden, Aurora, Kyler, Jahret, Addysyen, Allei,
Teagen, Allyson, and Edyn
Numerous other loving family and friends

VISITATION WILL BE HELD WEDNESDAY, APRIL 18, 2018 AT FIRST BAPTIST CHURCH OF POINT
FROM 6:00-8:00 PM

Lunch for the family will be at 12:00 PM on Thursday in Fellowship Hall. 1:00 pm visiting time....... 2:00 pm Funeral service time....
