Martha Garner

Martha passed away Saturday, July 27th at Baylor Scott & White Heart Hospital of Plano.

Funeral service for Martha Garner, age 73, of Emory will be held Wednesday, 10:00 am, July 31, 2019, at Smyrna Union Church, with Bro. Monte Parker officiating. Interment will follow the service in Smyrna Cemetery. Visitation will be held Tuesday evening, 6:00-8:00 PM, at Wilson-Orwosky Funeral Home Chapel.

She was born January 15, 1946, in Greenville, to the parentage of Troy Truett Hogue and Minnie Lee Ivie Hogue.
Martha graduated from high school and went on to cosmetology school where she became a licensed beautician. Many in Emory came to see Martha for hair cuts and sets. They were not only her clients, but also became her dear friends. Martha was a Christian. She was a friend to all and will be missed by all who knew her.
