Celebration of life for Martha Kelley, age 60 of Emory, Texas will be held on October 28, 2023 at Clifton Cemetery.

She was born on October 17, 1962, in Greenville, Texas to parents Harold Ray Smith and Annie Ely Lavana. Martha was a beloved member of the Rains ISD community for over 29 years. She was a remarkable woman who touched the lives of many with her kind and compassionate nature.

Throughout her career as a lunch lady at Rains ISD, Martha dedicated herself wholeheartedly to serving the students she loved. With a smile on her face and warmth in her heart, she made every child feel special and cherished. Martha had an incredible ability to connect with people and loved everyone she met. Her huge heart knew no bounds.

Martha's gentle and sweet personality endeared her to all who knew her. She radiated positivity and brought joy wherever she went. Her genuine love for the kids she served every day was evident in every meal prepared and served with care. Martha has left an indelible mark on the hearts of countless students who were fortunate enough to know her.
