Mary Cooke

Derohn Cooke passed away Friday, January 31, 2014 at the Senior Suite Care and Rehab in Emory. She was 85 years old at the time of her death. She was born on February 12, 1928 to Thomas Elias and Cora Pugh Osborn in Fort Worth. She married George Aaron Cooke on August 22, 1943; he preceded her in death in 1999. Mrs. Cooke was a loving homemaker and when her children were young she relished in making their home the gathering place for all their friends. She enjoyed cooking and caring for them all. Known to her family as Dee Dee, she loved being a wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother to all of her family. She was a member of Emory Baptist Church. She was loved by everyone and she will be greatly missed.
