Nora Namoni Duran, age 82, of Emory, passed away Monday, January 4, 2016, at Senior Suite Care and Rehab in Emory.
Funeral service scheduled for Friday, January 8, 2016, 2:00 PM, at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Emory. Father Victor Hernandez will officiate. Interment will follow in the Emory City Cemetery. Visitation will be at Wilson-Orwosky Funeral Home Thursday evening at 6 PM and Rosary beginning at 7 PM.
Nora was born on March 14, 1933 in San Diego, TX. Nora worked all her life in janitorial service. Nora was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Emory, and she was proud to be in charge of the kitchen there. Nora enjoyed crocheting and going to Bible Study with her friends at church. Everyone called her "Mama Nora" and loved her dearly.
