Ray Dean Mitchell, 61, of Arlington, passed away Saturday evening, August 9, 2014 at his weekend property just East of Emory, where he had the intention of retiring. Private visitation is scheduled for the family Thursday, August 14, 2014, 12:00-1:00 PM, at the Wilson-Orwosky Funeral Home Chapel in Emory. Interment will follow in Greenview Cemetery. Ray was born on June 16, 1953, in Ft. Worth, to Clovis Dean and Theo Rae Tanton Mitchell. He married Emogene Ruth Jukes in Bear Lake, PA on December 21, 1974. Mr. Mitchell proudly served his country in the U. S. Marine Corp during the Vietnam War. Ray worked as a Diesel Mechanic at Bruckner Sales for some 20 years. He was a member of the Methodist faith.
