Reba Odean Roe, 95, of Emory, passed away Monday, June 2, 2014, at Clarksville Nursing Center in Clarksville. Funeral service is scheduled for Friday, June 6, at 2:00 PM at the Wilson-Orwosky Funeral Home Chapel in Emory. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at 1:00 PM at the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow in the Clifton Cemetery. Bro. Tommy Gaston will officiate.
Reba was born on February 18, 1919 in Emory, to Otto Barton and Alma Verena Shipley Ely. She married Tennie Ira Roe on Dec. 20, 1940 in Idabel, OK. He preceded her in death on March 2, 1971.
She was baptized at County Line Baptist Church at age 14. She was of Baptist faith. She loved to quilt and work in her yard and flower gardens.

Sisters: Eda Carta Makay of Grand Prairie; Vena Hogue of Royse City; and Vernell Rogers of Quitman
2 Grandchildren: Joe Spearman, and wife, Lynette, of Emory; and Toni L. Moore, and husband, Mickey, of Clarksville
3 Great-grandchildren: Taylor, Callie, and Regan Anderson
Preceded by: parents; husband, March 2, 1971; 1 daughter: Mildred Udean Roe Spearman; 1 brother: Otto Ely, Jr.; 3 sisters: Veta Williams; Beatress Pendleton, and Vadean Childers
