Richard Campbell

Richard Lee Campbell was born on July 2, 1952, to Eli Melvin and Virginia Campbell in Dallas, TX. He graduated from Samuel High School in 1970.

He was first and foremost a Christian, loving husband, father, Pawpaw, and brother. He retired from Hensley Industries on August 31, 2017, after 33 years of faithful service. He was Product Sales Manager for Hensley Attachments for many years and traveled the world, and he loved every minute of it.

He was a faithful Deacon in his church in Duncanville for many years and a door greeter. If you didn’t watch out, you would get a big bear hug from him.

Richard married Pamela Franklin on March 2, 1991. He is survived by his wife of almost 33 years of Point, TX; daughter, Amanda Campbell from Midlothian, TX and her children Wyatt Jason Campbell and Parker Lee Campbell; son, Andrew Perry and wife Lauren Perry of Waxahachie and their children Jordan Carter Perry and Brooke Olivia Perry; brother, Tom Campbell and wife Cathy of Desoto, Missouri; brother-in-law, Donald Hall and wife Sandra of Waxahachie; mother-in-law, Linda Jacks Franklin of Point; and many, many other relatives and friends.

After moving to Point, Texas in 2020 and building a home, he joined Pilgrim’s Rest #1 Baptist Church in Emory, where he was also a faithful member.

He enjoyed spending time with his grandkids, working out in his shop, listening to his music, and building stuff. He also loved fishing and just being outdoors.

He will be greatly missed.
