Richard Allen Timms, born on June 11, 1952, took his final journey on November 11, 2024, leaving behind a legacy that will be cherished by all who had the honor of knowing him. He served his country as a member of the Army, where he embarked on numerous travels that became the backdrop of many stories shared with family and friends.
He was a dedicated family man. He met and married his wife, Jeanella Timms and together, they built a beautiful life. They spent a lot of time traveling and exploring many different places as a military family. His proudest accomplishment was being a good dad and ensuring his family remained united and supported throughout their journeys in life.
Richard was known for his patient and joyful personality. He was a happy individual who embraced life. Richard loved to spend his time outdoors, fishing or camping with his family. He also found joy in watching western movies.As we remember Richard Allen Timms, we honor a man who truly lived with purpose and passion. He will be profoundly missed by those who knew him and loved him.
He is survived by his wife, Jeanella Timms; Children, J.D. Gray and Sylvia, Pamela Gray Bridges and Jesse Williams; grandchildren, Kelsey, Austin and Amber; great grandchildren, Ethan and LeAnna; sister, Glenda Timms and brother, Jerry Clark.
